Field knowledge, passed forward

The operator's eye. The instructor's discipline.

Collup Enterprises was built on Jay Collup's experience around heavy equipment and operator training through Caterpillar and dealer programs. That foundation now informs the team-led training we bring to customer jobsites.

Our approach is grounded in a simple idea: equipment knowledge is most valuable when an operator can use it in the conditions in front of them. Our team works with each customer's crew, machines, applications, and production goals so instruction connects to the work instead of staying in a classroom.

The result is direct, practical coaching focused on safer machine application, operator efficiency, and better decisions in the seat. Our training experience spans operators at different skill levels in the United States and abroad.

How our team teaches

Built around the work your crew performs.

No two operations run exactly alike. The instruction changes with the application, but the method stays grounded in observation, context, and usable coaching.

  1. 01

    See the whole operation

The machine, material, operator, and production goal all shape the right approach. Training begins by understanding how the work is actually being done.

  2. 02

    Teach in real context

Instruction takes place around the equipment and applications the crew uses every day, making each lesson relevant to the decisions operators make in the seat.

  3. 03

    Make knowledge usable

Our instructors translate machine knowledge into practical coaching that operators at varying experience levels can understand, apply, and carry back into the work.
